So, I have decided what to do with my time. I am going to watch The Vampire Diaries from Season 1. It should be awesome :) Don't judge me, *narrows eyes*!!

Summer!!

Summer has been pretty chill so far! Watching How I met your Mother is all I've done.... Oh! I've also read this book called What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen! I love her and the book was awesome, like I expected!! Ya'll should check it out!
I had a great weekend! I went to one of my closest friend's graduation and then stayed the night at her place. Then when I left her place in the morning, I went straight to my oldest friend's graduation party (I hadn't seen her in 5 years!) and it was a lot of fun. I was really tired so most of the people got the (very wrong) impression that I am quiet. Little do they know what a freak I am! ;) We were up at a cabin in the woods and we had a great time! Now I am back to just relaxing. I think I want to go to the movies! I'm off to try to go!

Catching Up!!

So....I remember when I first started this blog, I was all hyped up, ready to faithfully blog everyday. Now, it's May and my last blog post was at the end of October. Can anyone say fail? Anywho...I'll try and update and hit all the main points of what has gone down since October. I worked in my mom's shop as promised for a lame couple of weeks. I can remember towards the end, Yahaddy came down a few times so that we could 'study' for our SATs. Needless to say, all we did was catch up and talk about random shizz.
After working at the shop, I was free to stay home and do whatever my house had to offer but all that was was my SAT books. Yahaddy came over a few more times as we got ready for the big day and other than the math I was ready. The day came and went and I got a 1900 :).
The month of December (after the SATs) was filled with idling around, and counting down to when i would be leaving to go off to college which would be in the wee hours of New Year's Eve. Towards the end of December, Jenny came back from England for Xmas break.  We hung around randomly and we had a blast one day at Coco Ocean, chilling and creating our own circus that totally rocks, called Cirque de Winnaires! Seeing as it was Xmas time, we also saw the coolest gingerbread house at Coco. They used real gingerbread and stuff cuz we could smell it and, let me tell you, we are beasts for being able to walk away!

After all this, the time for me to leave was upon us! I was really excited cuz I couldn't wait to get to Georgia, even for just 10 days. I missed it sooo much. As the time approached I started the fact of how much I would miss everyone I was leaving behind. The day before the day I had to leave (convoluted, I know) we all went to our favorite hangout, Paradiso, for a last night together. We had pizza, ice cream, and random wandering. It was awesome!

all came over to hang out one last time! I had a great time with my girls. I hung with Yahaddy for in the early afternoon. Then her, my lil bro, and my cousin went to pick up the catering and we got Jenny on the way. We all hung out and waited (for ages) for Raya and Alsa to get there so we could have dinner. We had dinner when they finally got there we had dinner and proceeded to stay up literally all night till it was time to go to the airport. We finally had to say goodbye and was so sad saying bye to my family and friends.

So, I left and went off to Georgia, where I grew up. I saw family that I hadn't seen in ages. I didn't get to hang out with everyone I wanted to but I managed to hang a couple times with my long lost besties from 5th grade, Ana and Bria. We went out to eat a couple times and had a good time window shopping (pics may be coming!).

Then, I left for Texas to start my first semester of college. For the past few months I've been in college in this tiny little town. I've got two roommates, Ice and Ndey Fatou. In the case of my roommates...it's been...difficult. Nothing terribly special has happened; just a blur of the same. Now, the school year is almost over! Just gotta get through finals! Can't wait to be done and head home for the whole summer! Should be great! I'll attempt to update more often so I don't end up having to post uber long posts everytime I finally get around to coming on here.

Life

These past few months have been pretty boring. I've just been pretty much floating along, not doing much of anything.

For the past month, I've been working at a law office doing a kind of internship thingy. It's been ok and pretty interesting. Now, I'm gonna be at my mom's shop for 3 weeks while she travels. It should be extraordinarily boring.

I can't wait to leave here!!

Bye Bye

So, yesterday was fun. Goodbye BBQ at Serena's house to hang with her one last time. It was fun just chilling with the peoples. We chilled, ate, and chilled some more! :) Then we walked to Jeanine's house which was scary. Trying to pass through the giant lake-type puddle and having to hold on to the wall for dear life. 

It was great then we had to say bye which was not so great. We'll all miss her so much. <3 <3

Just...me :)

I'm a 17 year old girl who's just graduated from high school. I've got tons of dreams- some are attainable and some are results of my (and my friends') overactive imaginations. For example, I wanna be a successful lawyer or a scriptwriter for movies....I'd also like to marry Joe Jonas. 

Over the last month or so, I've had to say goodbye to some of my closest friends without knowing when I'll see them again, because they're off to college. It's been hard but I'm used to goodbyes. A few years ago I moved and I had to say bye to people I've known my whole life. That was one of the hardest things I've had to do so now goodbyes are something I know how to handle. I've lost touch with a lot of people I used to know and that has been sad- it feels like I've lost a part of myself, but it's also made me realize that the ones who I haven't lost touch with are the only ones who ever really mattered. However, I've made new friends that I love and I'm so happy to have met. Because of them, I believe I've become more myself since meeting them and not cared as much about what other people think of me.

This summer has been the definition of boring. I have been stuck at my mom's shop the whole. I've only hung with my friends a few times, but all these times have been really fun and memorable, even they were mostly also filled with goodbyes. I've had hilarious lunches and dinners, and long fun day at a friends' house with a big group of friends and conversations that made no sense, and a sleepover with a friend with the chance to just hang out together. 

I can't wait for college and all the experiences I hope to have. I hope that one day, I'll be able to look back at this blog and be able to see how I used to be and how far I've come. To see if the things I love now will be very different from the things I'll love then; if I'm very different from how I'll be then. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
